Hey Mark-
Hope all is well in Maine. I appreciate the prayers.
My soul is well…. it is great to have the support of Tish’s family, as well as mine…to lean on. I am in a great place in my life and the Lord continues to bless. We do miss our church family in Maine. You all have done so much for the well being of my family, and to God be the glory.
We are moving into our new home the first weekend in May. We are excited and anxious. Pray that God would bring us helping hands for the move, as most of our moving …take that back…ALL of our moving crew is in MAINE
We will be fine I’m sure…but we were blessed by the guys who helped with the POD, as well as with packing– not to mention the crew who took care of Tish after I left, which was a HUGE blessing to her.
The job is going well…the commute can be challenging at times, but such is Atlanta traffic. It’s just something you have to live with, much like the snow. Tish is settling well into her job but will be glad to have space of her own where she can truly call it her own. Of course, we will be psyched to get back together under one roof again, as the kids are still in school and traveling back and forth between TIsh’s folks house and Kennesaw on the weekends. It can be challenging, but we know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
We are both excited for the baby to arrive, which it seems is just around the corner. Tish will be at 19 weeks on Friday. We have a few names in mind, but haven’t settled on one yet. She has another ultrasound on May 2…and we will get a more definitive determination of the sex of the baby. We are sometimes still in awe that the Lord has entrusted us with new life… what a GIFT!!
Pray for continued health with Tish and the baby….and for Mason & Kailey. The kids are doing fantastic. Mason just had his standardized testing done and did very well. Kailey won Most Improved Student of the Year at her elementary school and will be honored at a Chattanooga Lookouts game (minor league baseball team, Cincinnati Reds affiliate) tomorrow night. She is very excited.
We miss you guys…and look forward to seeing you again, hopefully during the summer months.
Blessings,
Dave (on behalf of T, M, K & baby G.)
