I would like to encourage all of you to join us on Sunday, June 22 for our Membership 101 afternoon. We will kick things into gear with a hearty pot-luck lunch, a time for us to get to know people and enjoy some stimulating conversation. Right around 1:00 we will gather together to explore the vision, purpose, and practices of WBC. During these two and a half hours we will explore:
- Our God-given future (vision)
- Our identity (Who we are: Family, Missionaries, Servants, Learners)
- Our practices (How we live: Rhythm living)
Have you found yourself asking questions:
- What are “listen, celebrate, bless, story-formed, recreate, and eat“?
- What does “Love, know, speak, do” mean?
- Do you wonder how our mission fits with our family?
- What does this mean for our community – and when we say “community” which one do you mean (inside or outside the church “community”)?
- How exactly are we “people in need of change helping people in need of change“?
If you’ve got questions, this is the afternoon for you! We want to help everyone gain a better understanding of where we are headed as a body; so please set aside an afternoon to listen, feedback, learn and celebrate with us.
